   The countdown to Thanksgiving is now in the single digits!  Soon you will be busy doing one of two things:  Cooking a lot or Eating a lot.  Either way it’s bound to be stressful.  This is the first year in a decade that I won’t be preparing the full Thanksgiving Experience.  I generally go all out – you know – using the china and crystal that only come out once a year then painstakingly polishing all 220 pieces of gold embossed silverware.  Instead, I am traveling to Southern New England to visit my family who lives just outside of Boston.  In some ways I am happy that I don’t have to cook for three days and get up at 2am on Thursday morning.  In othe ways I am sad that I won’t be able to see my Partner and his family as has become tradition. 

Which brings me to the topic of status update and menu plans for the upcoming week.  I was unable to sit down and prepare a weeks worth of menu plans plus the intricate and recipe heavy Thanksgiving Menu Plan in advance.  Instead, I am going to attempt to post via my laptop and remote computers.  I WILL post all of the plans so have no fear.  They may come a little later in the day or perhaps two at a time.  I have downloaded all of my recipes and plans to flash drives so I should be able to access them quickly.  Let me apologize in advance if something is late or an item is missing from the shopping list.

Finally, on December first I will be vacationing in Washington D.C.  For those days I am gone I will post the entire week’s plans in one post – so that will be something to look forward to.  Meanwhile, phase three is just visible on the horizon – in the coming weeks I will begin releasing details about how phase three will work and how you can apply the changes to your daily life and nutritional needs.

I’ll be airborne for the next several hours and unable to answer emails – so I will check back late this evening.  Until then – Stay Skinny!
